The 2013 Best In Badass

Happy New Year!

My Badass of 2013 is going to be a simple list this year as my computer has yet to be fixed, and I'm limited to my phone.

The 2013 Best In Badass

The Last Stand, Olympus Has Fallen, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Iron Man 3, Fast And Furious 6, Pacific Rim, Riddick, Machete Kills, Escape Plan, Thor: The Dark World, and Ninja 2: Shadow Of A Tear.

Are Ender's Game And Thor 2 Badass?

I just got home after fourteen hours at work, part of which was watching Ender's Game and Thor: The Dark World. I'm incredibly tired, so I'm just going to repost what I wrote on Facebook when leaving the theater.

Just watched ENDER'S GAME. I'm disappointed in how abbreviated the movie was compared to the book. It was good, but too many things were glossed over.

Now for THOR 2!

Thor: The Dark World was amazing fun! It was a cross between Lord of the Rings and Star Wars in places, yet it completely worked. I can see audiences not liking it because it was the most "comic book" of the Marvel movies thus far. The end credit sequences set up one future Marvel movie and one incredibly far reaching plot thread. The 3D enhanced the film and never felt forced. It was totally Badass!
