In the 80's, a fever swept America. It wasn't Pac Man fever, it was Ninja Fever. There were ninjas in movies, there were ninjas on TV... they were everywhere!
The greatest weekly reminder of Ninja Fever was a little television series starring the only Occidental American ever to become a Ninja.

Ninjas Are Badass
In the 80's, a fever swept America. It wasn't Pac Man fever, it was Ninja Fever. There were ninjas in movies, there were ninjas on TV... they were everywhere! It got so bad, that they started demanding equal rights, and elected Sho Kosugi as their spokesman. Here he is, arguing for why ninjas deserve the freedom to be ninjas:
