1992's Steel Justice could have been the most Badass television show ever:
After the murder of his eight-year-old son, Davey, David Nash loses the will to live. As he tackles his dangerous job as a policeman in a violent city of the future he begins to take increasingly reckless risks. Just as he begins to hit rock bottom, Nash is contacted by a wandering spirit who wishes to introduce him to his ultimate salvation... a forty five foot high steel robot in the shape of a dinosaur. Robosaurus has arrived to avenge Davey's death and help Nash fight an effective crusade against the evil and violence of the street.
