This is going to be brief as it's been a long day. I just got home from a screening of Guardians of the Galaxy, and it is everything I could have hoped for! The humor, the characters, the music, and the Marvel cosmic Easter eggs were all perfectly done. I know there have been a ton of comparisons to Star Wars, but it is 100% warranted. Guardians is such an 80's throwback that it has more in common with The Last Starfighter at times than it does The Avengers. And that end credit scene is going to blow comic fans (and fans of a specific 80's movie) away!
As of right now it is my favorite Marvel movie, and it is totally Badass.
